Project overview
After the success of Persimmon’s nationwide CRM, we were asked to design an online Site Management App to improve control and consistency on live developments.
We mapped the end-to-end build journey and created a workflow that guides each plot from groundwork through to final fix. Teams can record progress, coordinate orders and deliveries, and assign the right people at the right time. We designed the interface to work just as well on site as it does in the office, reflecting users’ roles and environments. Post-completion tools support quality checks and customer care handover.
Results
The Site Manager App is now a core operational tool across more than 260 Persimmon sites nationwide. Over 700 active users rely on it to manage the build of more than 10,000 new homes each year. By replacing manual, paper-led processes, the system has standardised key tasks that were previously inconsistent across regions.
This improves visibility, reduces rework, and helps teams make faster, better-informed decisions on site. With construction, quality, and customer care captured in one workflow, Persimmon has closed critical process gaps and strengthened delivery—creating a clear competitive advantage in a demanding market.
